Poem
11:54 PM - 07 September 2008

I was laying in bed, thinking about Kindergarten (don't ask why).

There was a poem we had to learn. We got a mini-size candy bar if we got it right.

The next year I still knew it, I went back to Mrs. Newman and I recited it again, and got a full-sized one.

I wanted to see if I could find it. I think I may have. I hope so

The Swing
Robert Louis Stevenson

How do you like to go up in a swing?
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown -
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!
